Grand Rapids Crew Juniors would like to take this opportunity to announce the 4th annual Grand Rapids Crew Cup, August 24-26th, 2012. Teams will compete from all across the region and Canada for the prestigious Crew Cup. Early interest in our event is high after last year when we hosted 220 teams. This tournament is open to Premier and selects teams U8-U14 boys and U8-U18 girls. Our main facility is the state-of-the-art MVP Fieldhouse with an additional sites within a 15 min drive, and Hotels all located next to MVP.
Applications: Applications will be considered from Premier and Select teams. After you have applied and receive your TEAM ID NUMBER, please take the time to reveiw the information. You can visit the website anytime to make edits to your application, if needed. Any changes to application can be made online until the deadline of July 27th
Team Selection
Team acceptance to the Grand Rapids Crew Cup will be completed by the "Selection Committee". Notifications are sent to all teams. The selection process is assisted by the information provided to the tournament on your application- example - team records, level of play, out of town/state vs local teams (to achieve a balance), performance in post-season tournaments. It is VERY IMPORTANT to provide as much information as possible to assist the committee in properly evaluating your team, do not leave this section blank! Cashing of the entry fee does not indicate acceptance to the tournament.
Accomodations
The 2012 Grand Rapids Crew Cup has teamed up with its official housing service, Traveling Teams, to bring your team the utmost service for its housing needs. This will help make the process of reserving rooms easier and more reliable. If you wish to pariticpate in the 2012 Grand Rapids Crew Cup, you must use one of the hotels provided by Traveling Teams.
Coaches Conflicts
We try our best to avoid all coaching conflicts. If your coach has multiple teams in the tournament make sure you spell the coaches name correctly and make a note in the notes section of the application. Our scheduling software picks up names so if your coach has more than one team communicate with the other manager to make sure that both applications have exactly the same spelling of the coaches name. For example, Alben Karamuco and Beni Karamuco.....it gets us every time :)

Registration: Will be FRIDAY ONLY at MVP Fieldhouse (see maps for address). There will be no registration at the fields NO EXCEPTIONS! Registration will be August 24, 2012 from 1-8pm.
